You know you are getting older when you.....

pick up a magazine with hair and makeup tips for women of all ages and you find you are now in the group that "has to take special care of their aging skin!" (I'm not vain, I
just remember as a teenager being amused by this section, thinking, I'll never have to worry about that!)
are overjoyed to be in bed at 9:30 on a Friday night because you are so tired
at a family picnic, YOUR kids are the ones outside running around until midnight, while you and your siblings are inside doing the dishes, cleaning up, and drinking coffee. If I remember correctly, it

wasn't that long ago, when WE were outside swimming and running around until midnight and our parents were inside cleaning up and drinking coffee!

you walk through a department store and cringe at the clothing for preteens. Remember when your mother used to do the same thing when we wanted bell-bottoms and halter tops?
