I am currently seeking my teaching certification, and in one of my Eled classes we are beginning our portfolio that we are going to take with us through the rest of our college. We are to write a paper on why we want to be teachers. Our professor told us that schools are going to look at this if they are interested in us joining their staff. I know why I want to be a teacher, and I can write the paper I was just wondering if you had any pointers on how to start my paper. Also, what aspect are the schools going to be looking for--why I really want to be teacher or more of just about us? Does that make sense? Any advice or helpful pointers would be great. Thank you so much.
