Hi Just Wondering:

Oh, I am sooooooooooo glad to hear that you feel great about your interview! Wow! I don't want to get your hopes up too much; however, 1 3/4 hour interview............hmmmmmmmm, I would take that as quite a compliment. He must have been interested in you, don't you think?

I'm glad you took the time to put together a portfolio for him. I think this really makes you stand out. In addition, if gives them something tangible to refer to other than their notes that they took during the interview.

I hope you remembered to ask him question so that you know if you want to work for him or not.

Oh, by the way, you didn't have a "senior moment."
Heavens NO! It was due to lack of sleep, of course!
