Job Interview By Just Wondering

Well, I think the interview went very well indeed. I took Dawn's suggestion to present a disposable portfolio and the principal interviewing me was amazed that it was for him to keep. He seemed dumbfounded that I didn't| want it back!! (I had 5 copies with me just in case there was a panel of interviewers). As I said to my husband, daughter and others who asked, I felt confident about my presentation of myself and my qualifications. I answered all the questions he asked me with confidence as well (surprisingly, I had pretty much guessed what he was likely to ask about and had prepared my thoughts accordingly | | so that I didn't waste time trying to stumble for answers). This was probably the first interview I've ever had where I felt that I was in control of the way things were going. So often in the past, I was unsure of myself and, therefore, didn't always project the image that I wanted to convey. I don't think there was anything I would have done differently. I gave it my best shot and now it's all up to the principal to decide if I am the best person to fill the job. He said he would be making a decision by Thursday, so if I don't hear from him Thursday afternoon, I'll contact him. I e-mailed him a thank you for the interview; hopefully, he'll be dazzled by my technological prowess and give me the job on the merits of that alone! Boy, will I ever be in trouble then!!! LOL I'll let you all know the end result one way or the other.P.S. The interview lasted 1 3/4 hours!!!!! I was the one who moved the process along when it was getting on to 5:00 PM and he didn't seem likely to stop any time soon. Can anyone top that???
