my "old wives tale" for preventing lice
By p

Clip to ScrapBook
Everyone has their own "special" cure for preventing head lice! Here's mine: Tea tree oil shampoo once a week, regular shampoo the rest of the week. They also say a drop of tea tree oil in the hair (as opposed to vaseline) will repel lice. It can be purchased at GNC. Does it work? I haven't contracted lice and it is a pretty consistent problem in our school. But let me reiterate that this is a solution that works for me and it may jut be coincidence that I haven't contracted head lice. I offer NO guarantees, but you might want to try it if lice become a problem in your school/classroom. The tea tree oil shampoo smells similar to Hall's cough drop!!! Oh the things we have to worry about!
