No lice for classroom pets

I just put some pillows down on my reading rug and was thinking the same thing.

I don't think there is prevention for cloth, other than covering with vinyl.

However, someone told me that you can run the pillows in a dryer on high heat for the longest time setting to kill the eggs and lice. I don't know if it works -- I haven't had to use it. However, last year I had several students with lice (the same ones' over and over.)
