insurance
By Julianne

Clip to ScrapBook
My husband's insurance is great, so I didn't need the school's policy. Because I opted out they gave me a portion of the money they would normally have had to pay for insurance in the form of a "cafeteria plan" which will pay any out of pocket expenses we might have - co-pays, eye glasses and such. I was surprised it was offered, but we've used it quite a lot. It never hurts to check with your benefits office and your husband's and explain you new circumstances. So may families have two working parents these days that companies have to face this all the time.
