When I was a parent (not teaching) with a school-aged child I was told (please don't be offended anyone) that the teachers who were parents were better teachers. (Now I have seen some pretty scary teachers that also called themselves momma.)I have also heard parents say (even to me as a teacher) "Oh, she'll see things differently once she has kids." Or, "If he new how tough families have it in the evenings he wouldn't assign so much homework." What do you do differently as a teacher now than you did as a teacher right out of college? (Besides what you mentioned before.) Do you give less or more homework? How is your behavior management? Just interested Sue
