What I've noticed the most about being a second career teacher is that I don't have the feeling of "burn-out" that some of the younger, beginning teachers are experiencing. I think age and life experience has a way of grounding us. We have the same degree of enthusiasm, but aren't as idealistic about teaching. What do you think?
