management system
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
When I taught in middle school, I used a point system for various infractions. For most infractions, I gave the students a point: talking, not raising hand, etc. Students received an after-school detention with three points, and they also received a phone call home. For more serious infractions, I called the parents and wrote an office referral for fighting, disrespect, etc. I actually wrote out a point slip and handed it to the child like a cop who hands out a traffic ticket.
