same thing as you. I was WAY too young, in my opinion, to teach the high school students so I tested and became elementary certified. You didn't mention the grade level, but I thought the post about literacy was right on target. That's a HUGE thing where I teach right now and I think it's actually harder than anything I ever taught in high school. There are so many facets of literacy!!!! Grab anything you can on balanced literacy. The behavior part shouldn't be very difficult. We use CHAMPS, but I find there's no comparison with the behavior problems of an 8 year old compared to those of a 16 year old. Good luck!
