Things are gettin MUCH better! I even smiled all the way home today (it is an hour 15 minute drive). My students are talking about me.. The administrators are talking about me. I have them constantly stepping in my class
to observe. Today my Principal told me that she likes what she sees happening in my class. Our school board member told me that he was told to come see me, that he had to see what I was doing. When he told me that that made me nervous, I thought I was doing something wrong. He said the buzz is out on you, kid. I don't know what you are doing, but you are doing something right for them to

tell me to come see.
A fellow teacher stopped me and said that she had to know what all the commotion about a licence was all about. Her class all but attacked her when she told them that they were going to have a test for her on the same day that I scheduled my lab test ( It is a lab safety test. It is a pass or fail, no re-takes. You pass, I will take their picture and make them a 'Lab Licence'. If they fail, then no licence, hence no 'big' lab for the whole year). this made me feel good! They want to pass. YEA! I got them!
