Last year I did a time capsule. I had the students fill out a sheet with the hobbies, things they like, who their friends were, etc. They then had to write 3 letters to someone in the class(about anything). All of this was put into ziploc bags with their names on them and then sealed into a box. I told them that they were going to get their baggie back when they graduate. All during the year they kept asking me about their time capsule. I cannot wait until graduation to see how much they have changed.
