All of these are great ideas! The kids will really enjoy this because it's so current.

You could also incorporate the excellent books that have to do with survival. Two that come to my mind are Island of the Blue Dolphins, and Hatchet. I'm sure there are more.

I am always trying to unify with themes, so if you're "surviving" in behavior management and science, why not connect with a trade book too!
