Science Club--me too

I also am toying with this idea. I don't want to be locked into planning a messy lab for every meeting. I have been noticing lots of outdoor work that could be done around the school, like planting clumps of flowers, bushes etc. I was thinking of merging science club with this work. We could put out bird boxes, etc. Another idea I've heard about is creating a butterfly habitat. This would be pretty extensive and expensive, so you might need a grant for it. As you can see, my ideas are grand but I'm almost afraid to start. If anyone has any experience and ideas for starting small, please share!
