Research Papers
By Kristin

Clip to ScrapBook
Argh! Teaching researching skills makes me crazy. Unfortunately, this year I don't get to teach history, but, that means I don't have to do the History Project! I love the History Day project, but when the sixth graders come to me, they don't know how to do a research project. And the History Day Project is more than that. Each year I would try to do a couple of research papers before the project but I never had time. I did purchase some books from Teacher's Creative Materials that have forms that were helpful. I think the best thing would be to actually do a paper as a class...from beginning to end.
