    Anchor Charts/I-Charts

Just finished reading The Daily Five and was trying not to feel too overwhelmed about all the great information in the book. I apologize if these questions are redundant or ridiculous - I must be OCD because I like to have everything spelled out in my head. I just need everything in an easier to understand and follow format...

I was thinking about all the different charts/signs that the book mentions:

    I PICK Good-Fit Books
Ten Steps to Improve Muscle Memory
    Quiet Signal
    Check In
Three Ways to Read a Book
    EEKK
    Check for Understanding
    How Partners Read
    I Read, You Read
    Choral Read
    Reading One Book
    Reading Different Books
    How to Choose Books
    How to Choose a Partner
    Coaching or Time
    Voice Level
    Choosing Your Own Classroom Spot
    Coaching SheetI-Charts

    Read to Self
    Read to Someone
    Listen to Reading
    Work on Writing
Word Work (Setup, Use, Cleanup Materials)I guess my question is do you have to have all these charts/signs displayed in addition to the CAFE wall? (Reading that book next.) What do you leave out all year around? Are the I-charts the only ones that are created together with the students?

Do you still use a Focus Wall?

Would you enlarge and laminate a Check In chart for the students to complete at each "rotation?" How long for each "rotation?"

Has anyone drawn up lesson plans including D5 and CAFE and all the other stuff going on during the day?
