Clip to ScrapBook
I'm sorry I don't have any creative project ideas to offer for this book that is one of my all-time favorites. I don't know the age of your students, but I was just wondering if you have a problem with the use of "bad" language. I love Katherine Patterson's books, but with my 4th and 5th graders I question the language. I would be interested in knowing others' opinions. Do any of you ever decide whether to read or not to read a valuable book based on the use of questionable language? Thank you in advance. J.W.
