Project-Sideways Stories...Wayside School

I read this book as a read aloud. After the story the students write a creative story as if they were a chapter in the book. It is fun to read all of their ideas. Then they trace their bodies on large paper and color/cut themselves out. They include some of the wacko things about their character on the drawing.
