Harry Potter

Hi Michelle. I don't mean to put a damper on your ideas, but I think that the Harry Potter books may be a little too difficult for your students, even to read aloud. I teach grade 4 and read Harry to my students, but even some of them had difficulty understanding it. The language and description is somewhat tough and complex. Perhaps I'm underestimating your bunch...I'd be interested in others' perspectives.
