Try going to www.novelunits.com I ordered a teacher's book for Hatchet. It has questions for each chapter and also vocabulary for each chapter. Basically, it is your lesson plan for teaching the book. I also ordered a video of the book. Watch out it is rated P.G. You may want to view it first. Also, after reading, I had my eighth graders complete a BIO poem using the main character. Also, I had them take a survey of who we thought would be most likely to survive and least likly to survive in the wild.(students, and teachers in our school) My kids really loved this book.
