Activities for Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

I made a bulletin board with a coconut tree. Then I have the students hold the letters of the alphabet and they walk up to the tree and place them on it as I read the story. I have also taken a coffee can and decorated it with coconut trees and then I place magnetic letters in the can for a center. The children really love that. I have also drawn a picture of a coconut tree on paper and the children color it and then they place alphabet cereal all over their tree.
