Hi! The book I read aloud at the beginning of every year is THE KID IN THE RED JACKET. It's a chapter book about a boy that is moving to a new school. The kids like it a lot, and it's wonderful if you happen to have a student in your class that's new to the school! Try it, I think you'll like it!
