Mr. Putter and Tabby

Using the first book in the series you could do a Venn diagram to compare Mr. Putter before he had Tabby to Mr. Putter after he had Tabby.

Using Mr. Putter and Tabby Pick the Pears you could have students do a setting web with a picture of the back yrad in the middle.
Students could write another ending starting off where Mr. Putter says that he has an idea abou t getting the pears. Or have the students practice predicting what will happen at the end based on the fact that the fallen apples were turnded into good things to eat after they landed in Mrs. Teaberry's backyard.
There is so much you can do with these books. Go for it!
