Owls in the Family - by Farley Mowat
    By Marilyn

    Clip to ScrapBook

One activity my kids have fun with is post-reading. They have to imagine that Wol and Weeps weren't given to Billy. They have to create a classified ad -with illustrations- to try to find Wol and Weeps a home. They have to describe them and what kind of home they need. I also have them rewrite one of the scenes (the problem with the maid...when the minister comes, or the parade for example) from Wol's or Weep's point of view. They have a lot of fun with that one!
