My students read this book this year and loved it! At the end of each chapter, I assigned a student to make a diorama of that chapter.( I only had 17 students in my reading class which is perfect for the 17 chapters). Each diorama had to include an index card with a summary of that chapter. We displayed the "chapters" in the library.
