guided reading
By Katy

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree that guided reading is the best way to meet all the levels in the classroom. There is a lot of good information about guided reading at the geocities.com website. I also recommend plenty of time for children to practice reading independently by reading from their browsing boxes, doing shared reading with big books and charts as a whole group, and shared/interactive writing. Often the skills that get addressed in shared/interactive writing come up in children's reading.
