Also, I bought a set of numbers at Lakeshore where the kids can trace a magnet around the shape of the number. First School has number jar worksheet printables. I have the kids trace the number and use stickers or stamps to put the right number of something in the jar. We also work on number recognition every day at calendar time ("Yesterday we put a 5 on the calendar, what will we put on today?...)
