teaching in PA
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I lived in Pennsylvania for most of my life before relocating to North Carolina, where I live now. When I lived there, I found that it was very challenging for teachers to get jobs in PE, Social Studies, and Elementary Education. If you have a foreign language degree, you will probably want to add to it--probably Spanish. People with degrees in science, math, foreign languages, and special education usually find it less difficult to obtain a job. You may also want to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Education to find out how you can transfer your teaching certificate from NH to PA.
