I Think I Can

Today is the big day of the interview. I have been thinking of nothing else for the past few days. I hope that works in my favor. I do feel much more confident than I have in the past. I think it really helps that I have
seen how other teachers make things work through my subbing experiences. This way when asked about how I will do something I know it can work because I have seen it done.
I know the bottom line is being positive and self-confident. I got to thinking that I go through the same thing as a sub. If I walked into a classroom of fourth graders and acted the way I do on interviews I

would never do well. I have found that when I am relaxed, positive, and act like I enjoy being there I can make anything happen. Why would an interview be any different? The bottom line is that if you can't relax in an interview they will think you won't be able to relax in class or in conferences, etc. I will relax. I will imagine them as first graders that can sit still while I talk. How great is that? Isn't that every teacher's dream? It will be great and I will do wonderfully! Yeah for me. I am pumping myself up. HA.
