TX jobs By DLW

Julie, What area in Texas were you working? I moved from Texas (Dallas suburbs) last year and I know the TAAS is a major stress issue for all teachers. Too much!! But I really loved the direction our school district was| headed-very progressive. I really don't see how your employee file would effective you getting a job interview. No one sees the file until you are hired anyway. If you're applying to other districts besides the one you left, your past job wouldn't be an issue until someone calls your past principal for a reference. Unless of course by word of mouth, but that doesn't sound like the case. | | Just to ease your mind, I would go and see your file. I had to do that before. You are allowed to write a personel reponse to any negatives that might be in there and have that included in the file too. It's your file! ESL and bilingual teachers are hot in every area and of course Texas is in huge need of spanish speaking teachers and asian depending on the part of the state you're in. Good luck to you.
