Not attacking By Another job seeker
|
|
I am truly sorry if you interpreted my earlier response as an attack on you. It was not my intent. I find it puzzling as to why you presume that those of us who tried to share our experience of job-hunting were handed our| jobs as a result of whom we knew. While I can't speak for others, in my case I have busted my hump for seven years to obtain a full-time permanent teaching position. I experienced rejection after rejection, with all of the accompanying despair and damage to my self-esteem. Along the way I had several interim placements which I thought would lead to permanent jobs only to have my hopes | | dashed time after time. In spite of that, I kept climbing back up on the horse again. We have tried to be helpful, encouraging, and supportive to you. If you choose not to help yourself by continuing to wallow in self-pity rather than actively looking to what you might need to change within yourself to accomplish your goal then, there really is nothing more that we can do for you. Instead of blaming others for your misfortune, look within yourself to find the solution. In light of the tragic events of the past few days, it may be a good time to re-evaluate all that is good and positive in your life and let go of the negative forces that may be holding you back. Good luck.
