I know what you're going through. I just graduated in May, but ideally would have loved to have my own classroom. Turns out I did get a job as a permanent sub, so I am grateful. I was under the assumption that the school that I will be working for had no full time openings. Last week, I went to an orientation and they proudly introduced their brand new 1st and 3rd grade teachers!? That made me feel SO depressed. I looked at these women and wondered why I wasn't even considered good enough to interview for these full time positions. I was so happy to get that job as a sub, but now I feel like second best.
