So sorry By KimW

I know I said that somtimes schools hire after schools start (and it is true). However, it may take more time. We have two districts here. One just started and they aren't hiring yet either but there is chaos and they| may eventually hire. Many of the teachers I know tell me that they were hired up to three months after school started. So what are you going to do now? Are you interested in subbing, aiding, or interims? I know they are not ideal but they could get your foot in the door. I know the feeling of people telling you to do this and that. A couple of weeks ago my aunt brought a list of | | openings in her area and to me it felt like she was saying I couldn't get a job on my own. So I know how you feel. And it is loads worse if the person giving the advice isn't a teacher. You have your own mind. You can do whatever you want to. Someone once teold me to tell them to mind their own business. I know how frustrating it can be. Last year I searched for a job and came up empty-handed. This year I searched even harder and I'm still empty-handed. You can't sleep, your blood pressure is high, chemicals in your body are out of whack, eating is either your refuge or you can't eat at all, nothing seems to make you happy and everything and everybody makes you angry, sad, or annoyed, you feel like it rains only on your parade. Look buddy, you are not alone.
