it's not easy
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
I too did the subbing thing for a couple of years and watched new teachers get hired right underneath my nose. All along being told there were no openings. I took a part time job at a private school for one year and then moved out of state to find the position that I really wanted. I was fortunate that my husband was up for the move also. Six years later I moved back to my home state and FINALLY landed a job in the district that I subbed in and wanted so badly. It was a long process, but now I can say everything happened for a reason because I'm right where I wanted to be. If teaching is what you truly want to do, you shouldn't give up, just believe it will work out for the best.
