My school also has made some blunders that, to me, seem very sloppy and unprofessional. I just graduated in May with my Masters. When I applied to this school and sent them my Undergrad transcripts and everything else, I| got my acceptance letter back stating that in addition to the education courses, I will also need to take a science class. I didn't doubt them, and I was planning on taking a Biology course this past summer because I couldn't fit it in anywhere else. After speaking to several classmates who had similar "discrepencies" on their acceptance letters, I was encouraged to take a look for myself | | to see if I needed that science. Turns out, I took that requirement in the spring of my freshman year of undergrad. How can this so easily be overlooked? I am starting to wonder if my school just wanted me to waste that extra $1500 that is not easy for me to pay. So, I contacted my school and asked them to take another look at my transcript, and they agreed with me. Later, I submitted all of my paperwork in order to get certified. I then received a call from the office that I was rejected because I never took the science. I explained what happened; and, after a series of not very nice phone calls to me, they saw their error and submitted my paperwork. I would think they could maintain a little more communication in that office. They make me doubt the school that I just graduated from. How could they be so careless and give me such a run-around? After what I've experienced while attending this school, I can't say that I would recommend it to another individual. My suggestion to you is to check everything carefully for yourself. Don't rely on what the school tells you.P.S. To further emphasize the incompetence of my school, I have not yet received my diploma that was supposed to be ready last month. The reason? They printed the wrong degree on them and had to return them to the printer! How lame!
