I agree with you. You shouldn't limit yourself waiting on the "right" position or school. But that still doesn't mean you'll get a job just like that. I can't afford to move without a job but I have applied to as far away as 80 miles from my home. AND I still don't have a position. Job seeking, especially teaching positions, isn't easy. Teacher shortage or not.
