Me Too
By KimW

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm with ya'! I know exactly what it is like. I've been turned down so many times this summer I'm beginning to feel like a worn out door mat. I'm really trying not to give up. I keep telling myself that there will be openings after school starts. But some voice in my head says, "someone less qualified will get them too". It is madness, stupidity, and utter humilation. I hate answering "no" to telling all familiar question "Do you have a job yet?" A prinicpal told MY MOTHER (of all people) a couple of weeks ago that I reminded her of a beaten dog! After the embarrassment went away, I got to thinking how else should I act when that is how I feel? I'm glad I'm not the only one.
