Don't Give Up
By Kaitlin Grayton

Clip to ScrapBook
If I were you, I would never give up on my dreams. You are probably looking in the wrong places. Try putting an application in an urban area. Urban area schools are usually desperate, and getting hired in an urban district
is usually easier.

Also, bombard the employment office. Ask them are their any openings. Make sure they have not lost your file (Believe me it can happen!) Be persistent and don't give up. Visit principals and brag about how you will use constructivism in the classroom. In addition, ask the principal can you volunteer in the school.

When you are interviewing for a teaching

position, pretend the person you are talking to is an old friend. You need to relax and take it easy. If you make a mistake during the interview, keep going. I made a lot of mistakes during my interview and I still got hired.

The next time you go on an interview, say a pray, smile, have a positive attitude and do your best.

Kaitlin
