Whichever position enables you to be in one classroom for an extended period of time would be your best bet. You want to gain experience doing your own planning and teaching. Subbing is difficult, but you do have the advantage (most of the time anyway!) of having another teacher leaving lesson plans for you. I was a building sub for 6 months and then got a 3 month leave replacement position (5th Grade). When I went on interviews they were much more interested in hearing about the 5th Grade position and what I did wth my class in terms of behavior management and curriculum. Good luck!
