weakness/strengths
By Heather

Clip to ScrapBook
I always advise people to pick a weakness that is actually a strength...ie..I tend to think school 24/7; I am a perfectionist; I am self critical, I don't have much experience at that level, I know the first year in a new
school is always overwhelming so I know what I'm getting into.

As far as a strength I alway suggest something like; I work well with a team, I am highly organized, I enjoy integrating technology into my classroom, I am excited about teaching, I relate well to children as well as to their parents. and so on

Find a few things that you can use and practice saying them outloud. Sometimes

it even helps to write out your answers to "see" how it sounds. Too many interviews I've watched people search for the answer too long and then sound shaky when answering. You want to sound confident and like nothing they ask you is going to throw you...just like in the classroom.
