voice
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
Maybe your voice isn't that boring to an interviewer. An interviewer might even think that you are just a very calm, laid-back sort of person. I once visited a classroom to observe a teacher whose voice was extremely soft spoken and gentle. I just thought of her as a calm person who wanted calm students. I observed another teacher whose voice was loud and almost shrill. I actually found that to be more objectionable than the first voice I described. I pitied the kids who had to listen to her all day. Has anyone actually ever told you that you sound boring at an interview?
