Woops! I read your posting so quickly that I misread it the first time. Yes, I am sure it must be annoying that you can't get an interview on your own without getting your name dropped by the right people, although I | never experienced this personally. I didn't have this sort of help. We would all like to believe that we can get hired without any politics on our side. I don't mean to sound snotty, nor am I trying to put a guilt-trip on you, but you are lucky that you DO have people who can drop your name to help you gain recognition. Consider that there are so many people out there who are trying | |
to get a job and can't do it because they don't have that kind of help. I think that there probably isn't a person out there who wouldn't take advantage of such a situation in a highly competitive marketplace. Count your blessings.
