I know how you feel
By Me too

Clip to ScrapBook
I just read your posts and while I am very sorry that this whole thing happened to you, it made me feel not-so-alone. I feel completely annoyed at the school district I worked for. I worked as an aide in 7-8 grade special
ed for a year. Everyone told me what a great job I did and put in tons of recommendations for me. I talked with both principals and the superintendent and got an interview at the beginning of June. The principal NEVER even called me back to let me know the decision... even though I was told I would hear from them around the 20th of June. Here it is already one week in July, and nothing.
How about some common courtesy of a reply at least saying no? It really makes me feel bad considering I poured all of my hard work into my job as an aide and the building had TWO openings. I really feel that it has something to do with the fact that my husband is military and they noticed that on my address OR they don't like to hire aides for teaching positions. Luckily, I found a job in another district and THAT principal has called me SEVERAL times to be sure I was still going to work there and pressure me to sign a contract. I finally gave up waiting on the other school. I don't want to work somewhere I am not appreciated. But, it really makes you feel bad... I just want to know WHY!!??
Thanks for letting me vent. I am sure my husband is tired of hearing about it.
