no job....why?

I'm wondering if you did subbing in that school? I know that in our district we recently did not hire a very qualified and well liked sub teacher. Why? Because the principal did not want to loose a great sub! I thought that was a lousy reason but it was the one given...she was used in our building this year 4 times as a long term sub in 4 different grade levels in cluding my special ed room when I had to have emergency surgery. she did a fantastic job in my room and I recommended hiring her but....we need that great sub more than we need her on our staff?????
So don't beat yourself up over this...there's probably some very stupid reason why you weren't hired....
