One of the tips that I was told is to always bring your answers to a question back to an experience. By doing this, I can refer to something that I know is in my portfolio. I am able to show the interviewer sample lesson plans, student work from my student teaching, pictures of bulletin boards, etc. I don't show the interviewer everything that is in my portfolio, but it is helpful in answering the questions and relating to my experiences.
