Did you get your teaching certificate through a local university/college? Maybe they have an employment/career services office open to alumni? nowhiringteachers.com is supposed to fax your resume to any available openings although I haven't actually tried it. You could call the districts in your area & ask if they're having job fairs...well I've only been at this for a week or two so that's all I really know. Is the principal at your old school still there? Maybe he or she knows what positions are available or where to start looking? Sorry if all my suggestions are old hat - I'm very new at this.
