Feeling uncomfortable

I've gone out for drinks, dinner, etc for years with the folks at my school, and I've never felt uncomfortable. We have teachers who order drinks, we have some who just have a coke or tea... and NO one is expected to drink and be loud, we just like to go out and socialize after school ever so often. Some teachers, who have children who attend our schools, bring their kids and we if there are more than three we sit them at their own table near us, so they can visit and have "kid time" while we have "adult time." That said, if I EVER felt uncomfortable around these people, or if they behaviour embarrassed me, I would leave and stop going out with them.
You should not feel obligated to socialize with people who make you feel uncomfortable - whether you work together or not... :)
