job fair idea

I went to a job fair a couple of weeks ago. I put together a short generic portfolio filled with a resume, a letter of introduction and a couple of sample lesson ideas. I also included a copy of my transcript and teaching certificate. I just put everything in a paper 2 pocket folder with a "business" card tucked in. Although the job fair was a bust for me, I felt good about handing the representatives a little more than a resume that looked like everyone elses. GOOD LUCK!
