I'm starting the Beth Newingham detective unit next week with mine. I'd like to introduce the vocabulary (alibi, suspect, victim, case, etc.) by reading a shorter picture book. Does anyone have suggestions? We've already read Dear Detective LaRue and I can't think of any more? I'd like one that uses a lot of the detective vocabulary.
